No Merb application part II

To Start off i was actually wondering if I should put this part of the tutorial here.

And after giving it much thought I've decided not to continue it.

The thing is that Rails and Merb are going for a merge in the versions 3 for Rails and 2 for Merb. So in a couple of months we shall see a preview of the new framework that should have best of both worlds.

Well til then I cant really post anything that hasn't been posted on wiki.merbivore.com. To be hones I had to switch back to rails for this site, and convert all the Merb code to Rails code. Working with Merb was fun and I;m really hoping to see a lot of the features in the future version.

Reasons for going back

There ware some issues with hosting the Merb application, well the only host I could find for reasonable price was dreamhost which used passenger. But then again the boot up of the app was painfully slow, of course caching resolved some issues but still some parts would have to been run dynamically and that wasn't working well.

Another reason is that I'm trying my strenght in a hosting company that I'm opening the site will be hosted on aurahosting.com, for now the page has WHMCS setup under clients.aurahosting.com. The hosting plans starting from 3.95/month (44$ yearly) - with Rails of course :) And currently only accepting Pay Pal as the payment option.
